Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soral Punkass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punkass has chosen Free Styler as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Soral Punkass!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Punkass manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Carson works to advance to full mount. Punkass defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Poor strikes thrown by Carson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Carson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Carson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Punkass has worked his arm free - good work by Punkass!

Punkass is trying to buck Carson off.
Carson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Carson swings around for an armbar but Punkass sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Carson's guard.
