The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Casey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Casey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mack wants to hold on but Casey pushes him away.
Casey postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mack looks a forlorn figure.
Casey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mack sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Casey is taking a breather. Mack says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Casey lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
