Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aldin Arifi!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Storm has closed the distance and engaged Arifi in a clinch.

Arifi decides to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Arifi manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Arifi clinches.
Storm tries to stall but Arifi uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Storm letting Arifi take a breather here.
Arifi utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Arifi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Storm tries to land knees in the clinch but Arifi avoids the damage to the body.
Storm unloads a knee to the mid-section.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Storm landing knees to the head.
Storm trying to land knees to the body.
Arifi is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Storm tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Storm throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Arifi blocks it with crossed arms.

Arifi has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Storm is trying to keep an underhook but Arifi manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Arifi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Arifi works his way into side control.
Storm defending against the ground and pound.
Arifi throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Arifi tries for a kimura but Storm is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Arifi postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Arifi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Check out the look on Arifi's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Storm prevents Arifi from improving position.

Arifi has hold of Storm's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Storm seems comfortable defending it but Arifi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Storm is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Storm is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Arifi couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Aldin Arifi!
