Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rio Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BB Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that BB Man was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man pushes Lord away with a front kick.
Lord will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Man throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lord tries for a takedown but Man sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
BB Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A thudding body kick lands there by Man!
Man stuffs the takedown attempt from Lord. Lord gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rio Lord. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lord avoids the head kick by Man.
Lord will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Man lands a body shot.
Lord is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick from Man lands but Lord takes it in his stride.
Lord misses with a wild body shot.

Man lands a big head kick that sends Lord tumbling to the mat! Man takes a step backwards and waves Lord back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Rio Lord has been cut.
Man ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Good leg kick by Man there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Man is looking to slow Lord down with leg kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Man jabs Lord to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lord has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Man.
Man scores with a kick to the midsection.
Man dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lord takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Man scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Lord is rocked!
Man and Lord are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Man throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Lord into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Man knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). BB Man!
A pretty intense looking BB Man took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
