Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Elerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keny Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darius Elerman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keny Boxer!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elerman gets the takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Elerman trying to control the action but Boxer is working from the bottom.

Elerman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Boxer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Elerman postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Elerman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Elerman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Boxer to his feet.

Elerman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Elerman seems to be looking for submissions.

Elerman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Elerman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boxer's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Darius Elerman wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Elerman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Elerman drops back looking for a leg! Boxer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boxer manages to kick Elerman off! Elerman jumps back into Boxer's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Elerman drops back looking for a leg! Boxer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boxer manages to kick Elerman off! Elerman jumps back into Boxer's guard.
Boxer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Elerman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Boxer keeping moving, preventing Elerman from controlling successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Elerman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Boxer trying to hold on to Elerman's head to control him but Elerman postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Elerman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Boxer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Elerman is looking to take a break and control but Boxer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Elerman scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Boxer to see if he's OK.

Elerman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Elerman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Elerman misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Boxer is trying to control Elerman's posture but Elerman avoids it.

Boxer wants to improve his position but Elerman is controlling well.

Elerman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boxer defends it well.
Elerman is keen to just control but Boxer is a slippery customer.
Boxer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Elerman.
