Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Moks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, William Peterson !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rafal Moks!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peterson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Peterson showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Peterson wants to free his trapped foot but Moks is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Moks wants to control but Peterson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Peterson trying to pass the guard but Moks defending well.
Moks makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Moks.

Moks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Peterson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Peterson wants to pass the guard but Moks is keeping the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moks slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Moks stands up from Peterson 's guard - Moks perhaps looking for a knockout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Peterson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Moks counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Moks content to stall in guard here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rafal Moks wasn't active enough on the ground.

Moks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peterson did well to prevent Moks getting side control.

Peterson pushes Moks off and gets back to his feet.

Moks drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Moks controlling the position.
Moks misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moks content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peterson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rafal Moks.
Peterson has his takedown stuffed

and Moks counters with a takedown into side control.
Moks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peterson keeps working.
Moks tries to advance to mount but Peterson denies him.
Moks throwing shots but missing, from side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Rafal Moks has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Moks moves in looking to clinch but Peterson pushes him off.

Peterson tries to sprawl but Moks drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Peterson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Moks in particular looking to stall.
Moks tries to pass the half guard into mount. Peterson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rafal Moks was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Peterson shoots for a double leg takedown but Moks sprawls well. He's pushed Peterson 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Peterson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moks's waist but Moks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peterson off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Peterson . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Moks closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Moks just content to control the position.

Moks decides to stand back up.

Peterson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Moks counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Moks stands and steps away. Peterson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Peterson shoots and misses

and Moks counters with a single leg into guard. Peterson didn't expect that.
Moks thows a big elbow that misses.
Moks scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Moks stands and steps away. Peterson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rafal Moks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Moks throws a right and a left that Peterson avoids nicely.
Peterson blocks a head kick by Moks.
Moks has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Peterson is not content to let Moks control the position.
Peterson is trying to stand back up but Moks is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peterson gets caught flat footed, as Moks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Peterson pushes Moks off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Moks closes this distance looking for a takedown but Peterson circles away.

Peterson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Moks on his heels. He'll look to pass Moks's guard now, I'm sure.
Peterson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moks swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Peterson is working hard here to advance position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moks wants to sweep here but Peterson controlling him for the moment.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Moks takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The ground and pound from Moks seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Rafal Moks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Moks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
