Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Atlas Kivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kahlua Zordick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kahlua Zordick!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kivi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Zordick tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kivi is in Zordick's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Zordick looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kivi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kivi content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kivi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zordick's head.
Kivi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zordick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zordick preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Zordick manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kivi manages to get himself to full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kivi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Zordick is looking to control Kivi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zordick avoid being mounted?
Kivi not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kivi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zordick defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.

The fighters are battling for position here. Zordick manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kivi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Zordick has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kivi is looking to defend but Zordick has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kivi! Zordick pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kivi taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kahlua Zordick!
