Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lee Cyrus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bj Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans has chosen Pride FC as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Evans sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Evans gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Evans is looking to chop away at Cyrus's legs.
Cyrus tries to clinch but Evans moves away
and Evans counters with a thumping low kick.
Evans ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cyrus moves away.
Cyrus showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Evans.
Evans throws a series of punches but Cyrus moves out of range.

and Evans counters with a good, hard body kick but Cyrus shrugs it off.

Cyrus could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Cyrus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Evans.
Evans is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Evans.
Cyrus takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Evans lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cyrus's sensitive parts.
Evans will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cyrus misses with a takedown attempt - Evans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Evans throws a head kick but Cyrus moves out of range.

Evans motions for Cyrus to come forward. Evans throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Evans tries to close the distance and clinch but Cyrus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Good leg kick by Evans there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Evans cracks Cyrus with an open hand slap.
Evans lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cyrus circles away quickly and effectively.
Evans lands with a kick to the temple. Cyrus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Evans throwing shots but Cyrus is blocking nicely.
Evans has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Evans is looking to advance position but Cyrus won't allow it.
