Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Carter!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Susikasi.

Carter might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Susikasi kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Carter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Susikasi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carter.

Carter keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Susikasi's head.
Carter is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Carter controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Carter dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Susikasi slips a straight right by Carter.
Carter moves out of range of the strikes.
Susikasi shoots in and drives through. Carter sprawls well.
Carter lands a jab to Susikasi's midsection.
Carter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Susikasi manages to avoid it.
Carter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Susikasi.
Carter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Susikasi is fending him off so far but Carter persists. Nope, Susikasi circles away and we're back to standing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Susikasi. Carter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Susikasi shoots in looking for a takedown. Carter tries to sprawl out of it but Susikasi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Carter shoots in looking for a takedown but Susikasi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Carter uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Susikasi has time to react.
Oh Susikasi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Susikasi get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Susikasi stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Carter runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Carter!
