PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Kendray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Borkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Kendray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wojtek Borkowski!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kendray shoots for a double leg takedown but Borkowski sprawls well. He's pushed Kendray's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice sprawl there from Borkowski as Kendray shoots in.
Borkowski throws a sloppy head kick and Kendray moves out of range easily.
Borkowski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kendray swivels and escapes.

Kendray feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Borkowski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kendray manages to get himself to full guard.

Kendray closes the distance looking for a takedown. Borkowski stuffs it but Kendray still has hold of him. Kendray picks Borkowski up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Kendray slams Borkowski to the floor and that's really hurt Borkowski - he doesn't know where he is! Kendray throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
