Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson lands the left hand.
Winchester fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lawson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Winchester tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lawson counters with a right hand to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Winchester.
Lawson throws out a leg kick but Winchester moves out of range and Lawson only half commits.
Winchester takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Winchester tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lawson looks to throw the jab but Winchester is out of range.

Lawson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Winchester takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Winchester takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lawson takes a swing at Winchester's ribcage but misses.
Lawson cracks Winchester with an open hand slap.
Lawson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Winchester stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lawson looks for the body kick but Winchester saw that one coming.
Lawson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Winchester is able to avoid easily.

Lawson throws a hook but Winchester avoids it easily.

Winchester darts in trying to clinch
and Lawson counters with a thumping low kick.
Lawson lands a nice shot that snaps Winchester's head back.

Lawson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Winchester. That did some damage!

Winchester throws a sloppy head kick and Lawson moves out of range easily.

Lawson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lawson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Winchester moves to clinch but Lawson breaks away
and Lawson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lawson connects with a nice looking jab.
Winchester is still on wobbly legs! Can Lawson finish him?
Good leg kick by Lawson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lawson cracks Winchester with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Winchester looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lawson finish him?

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Lawson engages and cracks Winchester with a massive lead left hook - Winchester tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Lawson is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
