Phillips throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A nice combination there by Phillips.

It looks like Jose The Noose has been cut.
Phillips misses with the combination.
The Noose shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Phillips as he avoids it easily.
Phillips scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Phillips scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Left hook, right uppercut from Phillips.
Phillips tries to land a front kick but The Noose steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Phillips scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
No joy there for Phillips, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Phillips scores with a punch to the head.

Phillips cracks The Noose with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Phillips has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning The Noose to stand back up!

The Noose is rocked!

That has opened up Jose The Noose 's cut even more.
The Noose is aggressively charging in as Phillips backs up avoiding any damage. Phillips tosses out a jab and The Noose runs right into it face first! The Noose is out cold! Phillips dropped down on all fours and is barking in The Noose 's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
