The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cranston tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fonseca swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cranston moves in looking to clinch but Fonseca pushes him off.
Fonseca shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cranston as he avoids it easily.

Cranston is trying to trip Fonseca. He has hold of a leg but Fonseca is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cranston persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fonseca working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cranston doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cranston manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cranston is sitting in close to Fonseca's body. Fonseca has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cranston is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cranston is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fonseca.
