Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Pratama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rios has chosen Forever as his entrance music. Diego Rios is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diego Rios!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pratama tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rios manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rios circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pratama tries to clinch up but Rios circles away and keeps his distance.
Pratama leaves Rios with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pratama tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Rios counters with a single leg into guard. Pratama didn't expect that.
Rios not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Rios is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pratama is just riding it out for now. Rios eventually gives up the hold.
Rios throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Pratama might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pratama is refusing to be controlled, as Rios sits in half guard.
Pratama tries to kick Rios off but Rios keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rios working over Pratama with some ground and pound. Pratama looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Rios is working for a submission of some sort.
Rios throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Rios is trying to control the action in half guard but Pratama is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pratama is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rios scores with a couple of nice shots.

Rios is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pratama has managed to free his arm - good work.
Rios keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Rios is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rios is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pratama sees it coming and defends easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pratama has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rios is working away from the top position though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diego Rios dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Rios fails with the takedown.
Pratama is looking to clinch but Rios is avoiding it.
Rios shoots in and drives through. Pratama sprawls well.
Rios tries to clinch up.
Pratama is looking to clinch.
Rios throws a head kick that misses.
Pratama tries to clinch but Rios moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rios is defended easily by Pratama.
Sultan Pratama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Rios.

Rios manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pratama on his heels. He'll look to pass Pratama's guard now, I'm sure.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rios's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Rios stands up over Pratama, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Pratama has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rios has passed into side control.
Rios lands a few punches from side control.

Diego Rios has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rios throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Rios throws an elbow but Pratama slips to the side and avoids it well.

Rios is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pratama is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pratama wants to control but Rios postures up.
Rios working the ground and pound from side control.
Rios takes a little break here. Pratama wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Rios passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Pratama!
Pratama takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rios cracks Pratama with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pratama is bucking up trying to escape but Rios cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rios scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Pratama?


Pratama is rocked!

Oh Pratama is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rios landing strikes, looking to finish!

Rios working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Rios postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Pratama badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Rios around the waist but Rios pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Rios is the winner by TKO! Rios jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Rios!
A less than humble Diego Rios misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
