Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzo comes to the cage accompanied by White Rabbit. Ball has chosen Hammer Smashed Face as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Joe Ball enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Ball lands.

It looks like Doctor Gonzo has been cut.
Ball fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice straight punches there by Ball. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ball.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A swing and a miss from Ball.
Gonzo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ball.
Ball throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Ball scores with a takedown into Gonzo's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ball trying to control but Gonzo is working from the bottom.
Ball looking to sit in guard and control but Gonzo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gonzo throws a big right hand that misses.

Gonzo wants to control from the top but Ball keeps moving.
Gonzo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ball works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gonzo is fighting to break Ball's control of his arms but Ball is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Gonzo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ball bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gonzo's guard.

Gonzo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gonzo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ball controls the pace.
Ball postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ball postures up in Gonzo's guard and throws a big left but Gonzo blocks it.
Ball throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gonzo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gonzo is trying to keep Ball in close.
Ball trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ball throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Ball has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gonzo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gonzo pulls Ball in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Doctor Gonzo wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Gonzo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gonzo.
Gonzo shoots in for a takedown but Ball shows good takedown defense.
Ball cracks Gonzo with a right hand to the side of the head.

Ball gets in close and tags Gonzo with a short punch that almost sends Gonzo to the mat! Oh Gonzo is in big trouble! He turns his back on Ball, trying to create some distance but Ball rushes him, striking wildly and Gonzo goes down! The referee tackles Ball into the cage to end the fight! Ball is one violent man!
