Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Mcilhagga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramsey Nijem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcilhagga comes to the cage accompanied by Flogging Molly - 7 Deadly Sins. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcilhagga tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nijem manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mcilhagga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nijem but Nijem pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nijem fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mcilhagga to the ground. Nijem is now in Mcilhagga's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Nijem scoring with some ground and pound.
Mcilhagga wants to stand and escape but Nijem is having none of it.
Nijem not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mcilhagga controls Nijem momentarily but Nijem frees himself.
Nijem distracts Mcilhagga with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Nijem sitting in guard here, content to control.
Mcilhagga preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mcilhagga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nijem is one step ahead there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mcilhagga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nijem controls the pace.

Nijem stands and throws Mcilhagga's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Nijem cracks Mcilhagga with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Nijem trying to control the position but Mcilhagga is working away.
Mcilhagga is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nijem connects with a decent elbow.
Nijem lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mcilhagga down.

Nijem lands a decent elbow from side control.
Oh Mcilhagga is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nijem in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Mcilhagga looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Nijem turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
