The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by French as he checks the leg kick.
Cd displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from French.

Cd takes a swing at French's ribcage but misses.

Cd tries to clinch up but French circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice uppercut lands for Cd. That snapped French's head back.
French shoots for a takedown but Cd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cd fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt French.

French drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cd manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now French has Cd in his guard.

Cd wants to get up but he can't break French's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters circling - Cd throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Noah Cd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Good leg kick by Cd there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
