The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruger lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brookins's sensitive parts.

Cruger shoots in for a takedown but Brookins shows good takedown defense.
Cruger wants to land a leg kick but Brookins is out of range.

and Brookins counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cruger's guard now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cruger pulls Brookins in close to prevent any damage.
Brookins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cruger on the ground.
Cruger lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brookins!

Brookins has left one of his arms exposed and Cruger doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Brookins screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
