The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericson scores with a jab to the body.
Ericson slips under a jab.
Jililele Jobo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jobo throws a series of punches but Ericson avoids them all with ease.
Ericson misses with an uppercut
and Jobo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jobo.
A clash of legs there as Jobo blocks the low kick.
Jobo misses with a double jab.
Ericson throws a hook but Jobo avoids it easily.
Jobo throws a head kick but Ericson moves out of range.
Jobo is looking to clinch but Ericson is avoiding it.

Ericson misses with a few strikes there.
Jobo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jobo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ericson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ericson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jobo momentarily.
Jobo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ericson counters with an inside leg kick.
Jobo looks gassed!
Ericson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jobo throws an off balance right hand
and Ericson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ericson misses with a takedown
and Jobo counters with a one-two to the body.
Jobo throws a series of punches but Ericson avoids them all with ease.
Ericson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ericson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ericson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Jobo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ericson off and cradles Jobo's limp body as Ericson celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Kris Ericson!
