Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otou Hek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hek's choice of entrance music: Tha Playah. Daniel Ruiz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Ruiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Otou Hek!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruiz moves into the clinch.
Hek has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ruiz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hek is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Ruiz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hek defends it easily.

Hek got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ruiz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hek has managed to get both his arms back between Ruiz's legs - danger averted.

Hek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ruiz tries to avoid it but Hek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ruiz to the ground. Ruiz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
