Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimble Gamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gamble's entrance music is Manowar - Kill With Power. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kimble Gamble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Williamson!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williamson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Williamson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williamson drops Gamble with a left and a right! Oh, Gamble is hurt - Williamson dives into side control looking to finish!


Gamble is rocked!


It looks like Kimble Gamble has been cut.
Gamble sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Gamble is doing well to control the position and prevent Williamson from advancing to side control.

Gamble is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Williamson pulls his head out easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gamble shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gamble dodges the punch combination from Williamson.
No joy there for Williamson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Williamson stuffs the takedown attempt from Gamble. Gamble gets slowly back to his feet.
Williamson looks to land a combination but Gamble avoids it well.
William Williamson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gamble shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Williamson tries to hold on but Gamble postures up.

Gamble is landing with some decent strikes but Williamson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Gamble fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Williamson throws a sloppy head kick and Gamble moves out of range easily.

Gamble drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gamble tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Gamble is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Williamson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gamble thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Williamson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Gamble decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Williamson stuffs the takedown.
Gamble throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gamble has closed the distance and engaged Williamson in a clinch.
Williamson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gamble avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Williamson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gamble has him pressed against the cage.
Gamble is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimble Gamble. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gamble drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williamson pulls his leg out and moves away.

Gamble closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gamble tries to bum rush Williamson with a series of wild strikes but Williamson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's time! Gamble's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Gamble avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gamble shoots in but no luck this time.
Gamble pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice combo by Williamson! Oh, that's hurt him - Gamble falls to the canvas and Williamson follows him into side control.
Oh Gamble is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Williamson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gamble's shoulder. That is not cool.
Williamson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Gamble seems to have got his legs back now.
A lull in the action here as Williamson stalls from top position.
Williamson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gamble keeps working.
Gamble is looking for a sweep.
Gamble sneaks back into half guard.

Gamble manages to escape and get back to his feet!

A left lands for Williamson.
Gamble closes the distance and clinches up with Williamson, looking for a takedown. Gamble pushes Williamson against the cage but Williamson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gamble tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williamson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Williamson throws a series of punches but Gamble moves out of range.
Williamson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Williamson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Williamson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Gamble throws an overhand right that lands on Williamson's shoulder, as Williamson tries to avoid the shot.
Williamson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Williamson misses with a few strikes there.

Gamble shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gamble moves to the back position.
Will Gamble go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Gamble is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Williamson is defending well though. Gamble let's go of the attempt for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Williamson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Williamson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gamble. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gamble's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Williamson is trying to defend against the choke here but Gamble has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Gamble Tightens the hold and Williamson taps out furiously! Gamble displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
