PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Po Panda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and da Energy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Panda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas. Energy has chosen yep cool song o-0 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda misses with a leg kick.

Panda darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Energy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Energy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Energy is trying to control the position but Panda postures up.
Panda has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Panda passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Panda lands an elbow.
You can see the frustration on Energy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Energy tries to bench press Panda off him but Panda keeps the position.
Panda scores with a couple of short elbows.

It looks like da Energy has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Energy manages to get back to half guard.
Energy has hold of Panda's hands but Panda slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The cut above da Energy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at da Energy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Po Panda!
