Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Lindell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shin Nawasaki!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nawasaki checks a low kick from Lindell.
Lindell misses with a leg kick.
Lindell shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nawasaki defends it nicely.
Nawasaki wants to clinch.
Lindell's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lindell duly obliges.
Lindell lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nawasaki keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nawasaki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nawasaki just content to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lindell can't do much from the bottom here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lindell is looking to reverse the position.
Nawasaki tries to move to mount but Lindell blocks the move with his legs.
The referee asks Nawasaki politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nawasaki prefers to stall for the moment though.

Nawasaki is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lindell looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nawasaki gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lindell is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nawasaki lets go of the hold and Lindell can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Shin Nawasaki!
