Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gideon Gonzalez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Gaziev!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaziev gets the takedown into side control.
Gaziev working the ground and pound but Gonzalez is defending the strikes.
Gonzalez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gaziev throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Gaziev is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gonzalez's shoulder. That is not cool.
Gonzalez managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Gaziev.
The strikes coming from Gaziev are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Gaziev trying to control the position but Gonzalez is working away.
Gonzalez gets back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gaziev is looking to stall here but Gonzalez recovers full guard.
Gaziev drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gonzalez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gaziev has Gonzalez in his guard.
Gonzalez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gaziev is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gonzalez, into his guard.
Gaziev working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Gonzalez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gaziev accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gaziev throws a strike but Gonzalez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Gonzalez drops back looking for a leg! Gaziev is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gaziev manages to kick Gonzalez off! Gonzalez jumps back into Gaziev's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gaziev wants to get back to his feet but Gonzalez passes into half guard.
Gonzalez scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Gonzalez is trying to control. Gaziev wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Gaziev misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Gaziev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gonzalez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gaziev is not content to let Gonzalez control the position.

Gonzalez is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Gaziev is looking to escape.
Gonzalez is looking to advance position but Gaziev won't allow it.
Gonzalez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gaziev is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
