Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oscar Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bong Pak!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz slow jab from Pak misses its intended target.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pak as he jumps to the side.
Diaz takes a swing at Pak's ribcage but misses.
Oscar Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Diaz paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Diaz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Diaz is trying to control the action in half guard but Pak is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Diaz is trying to work for a kimura but Pak is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pak keeps working.
Diaz stops Pak from getting back to his feet.

Diaz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Diaz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz moves into full mount! Pak won't be happy about that!

Diaz is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pak is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pak flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Diaz anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pak and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Diaz slips an arm under Pak chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Diaz has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Diaz is squeezing on Pak like an anaconda would it's prey. Pak fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Oscar Diaz!
