Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jetset Niemi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenson Rawlins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Niemi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Parker & Clind - Generator. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niemi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rawlins to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Rawlins passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Rawlins is looking to take a break and control but Niemi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Niemi wants to control but Rawlins postures up.
Niemi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rawlins is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Rawlins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Niemi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Niemi is in a bad position with Rawlins working for a choke. Niemi manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Rawlins has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Niemi should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rawlins has tightened it up now! Niemi should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
