The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotovina drops his hands momentarily and Dokic takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Ante Gotovina has been cut.

Gotovina wants the takedown. Dokic is fighting it off but Gotovina persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dokic's guard against the cage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Dokic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gotovina doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gotovina manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gotovina rolls with it to try and escape but Dokic cranks on the arm and Gotovina is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
