Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phal Um (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taco Mcgibblets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgibblets has chosen enrique iglesiasI Like It (Jersey Shore Version) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Taco Mcgibblets was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phal Um!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Taco Mcgibblets!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgibblets pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Um throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcgibblets's waist but Mcgibblets gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Um off to one side.
Um shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcgibblets manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Um working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mcgibblets wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Um slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Mcgibblets makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Um. Mcgibblets does a little dance to reset his feet.
Phal Um seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Phal Um overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Um uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mcgibblets.

Um turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Um manages to end up in side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Phal Um will probably get the nod.
