Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Platinov throws a hook but Mela avoids it easily.
Platinov misses with a looping left.
Mela closes the distance and clinches up with Platinov, looking for a takedown. Mela pushes Platinov against the cage but Platinov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Platinov lands a nice hook to Mela's body. Mela takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mela is looking to clinch but Platinov is avoiding it.
Platinov connects with a body shot.
Platinov lands with a cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Platinov digs a good hook to Mela's body.
Mela is breathing heavily.
Platinov lands with a straight right. Mela didn't see that one coming.
Heikki Mela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Platinov lands with a good body shot.
Mela fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Platinov avoids it really well and circles away.
Mela takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Platinov lands a left and a right that send Mela crashing to the mat, dazed. Platinov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mela is rocked!
It looks like Heikki Mela has been cut.
Platinov looks to land a left hand but Mela moved out of range nicely.
Oh Mela is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Platinov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mela uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Platinov.
Mela seems to have got his legs back now.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mela is defended easily by Platinov.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heikki Mela. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Platinov digs a good hook to Mela's body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Platinov steps in with a hook that catches Mela right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Platinov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Mela looks absolutely devastated.
