The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson lands a head kick. Macmillan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Macmillan shoots in and drives through. Anderson sprawls well.

Anderson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Macmillan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Anderson off and has taken his back!
Macmillan has the hooks in. Anderson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Anderson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Macmillan's arms.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Macmillan is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Anderson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
