The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesker scores with a three punch combo!
Horrible takedown by Wesker or perhaps it was just good defense by Tigulang which made him look bad.
Tigulang shoots in and bounces Wesker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tigulang's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Tigulang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wesker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tigulang has managed to get both his arms back between Wesker's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wesker throws a right hand that Tigulang ducks under and follows up with a left that Tigulang also avoids with ease.

Wesker pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tigulang back to the cage. Wesker follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wesker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tigulang backs up against the cage.
Wesker is working the combinations to good effect here.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Wesker enables Tigulang to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wesker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tigulang looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wesker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We're going to have a standup here because Gary Tigulang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Wesker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tigulang's waist but Tigulang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wesker off to one side.

Wesker is looking for a sweep. Tigulang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
