The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liukkonen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Paisti with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Liukkonen goes for a takedown attempt but Paisti pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Liukkonen tries to clinch but Paisti is having none of it.
Paisti stuffs the takedown.

Paisti drops Liukkonen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Liukkonen looks back up at him and smiles so Paisti waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Liukkonen is rocked!
A jab from Paisti misses.
Oh Liukkonen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Liukkonen slips a jab from Paisti.
Liukkonen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paisti.
Paisti misses with an uppercut. Liukkonen saw that one coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Paisti throws the left hand but Liukkonen avoids the punch easily.

Liukkonen tries to keep at a distance but Paisti has taken the fight into the clinch.
Paisti misses with a punch on the inside.
Paisti misses with a short punch on the inside.
Paisti swings wildly with an uppercut but Liukkonen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Paisti throws a head punch that misses.
Liukkonen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Paisti has Liukkonen pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Liukkonen is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Paisti - that's hurt Liukkonen badly! Oh, another knee lands and Liukkonen is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Liukkonen doesn't seem to be complaining.
