Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Genghis Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trent Masters!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters works the jab nicely.
Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Masters.

Masters shoots in and gets a takedown into Khan's guard.

Masters gets to his feet - Khan follows without any prompting.
Khan moves away from the strike by Masters.
Khan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice straight punches there by Masters. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Masters.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice body punch from Masters.
Khan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Masters moves away.
Nice shot lands for Masters.

Masters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Masters decides to stand back up. Masters steps back and let's Khan get back to his feet.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Khan moves forwards but Masters connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Khan throws the left hand but Masters avoids the punch easily.
Khan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Khan needs to keep his hands up - Masters had a free shot at his head there.
Masters bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Khan's head.
A big left from Masters misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Masters is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khan.

Masters drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Masters is looking to stand up but Khan won't let him.
Masters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Masters stands and throws Khan's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Masters has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Masters scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Khan throws out a loose jab but Masters uses good head movement to avoid it.
Masters has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Masters takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Masters lands with a kick to the temple. Khan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Masters throws a looping overhand right but Khan ducks down to avoid it.
Khan fails with the takedown
and Masters counters with a low kick, right behind Khan 's knee.
Masters avoids the body shot from Khan.
Khan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Masters lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Khan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Khan throws a lazy uppercut
and Masters cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Masters thuds a left hand into Khan's body.
Khan takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Masters moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Masters feints and as Khan raises his hands in defense, Masters changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Masters decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Khan, up you get!
Khan dodges the punch combination from Masters.
Khan needs to keep his hands up - Masters had a free shot at his head there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Masters catches Khan napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Khan to the canvas!

Khan is rocked!
Masters is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Oh Khan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khan seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khan wants to sweep here but Masters controlling him for the moment.
Masters trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Trent Masters was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Masters's corner calls for a 1-2. Masters obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Khan drops his hands momentarily and Masters takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Masters scores with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice defenses there by Khan.
Masters walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Masters connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Khan tumbling to the canvas! Masters pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Khan was done - good stoppage!
