Jass turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jass manages to end up in side control.

Jass wants to lay and pray for a moment but Montana keeps working.
Jass creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Jass looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

No joy there for Jass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jass closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jass lands in his opponent's guard.
Montana is trying to control the position but Jass postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Montana gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Jass connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jass tries to close the distance and clinch but Montana swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jass rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Montana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Montana shoots in looking for a takedown. Jass tries to sprawl out of it but Montana keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jass manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
