Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown but Lesnar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Anderson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lesnar gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lesnar trying to land knees to the body.

Anderson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Anderson moves in looking to clinch but Lesnar pushes him off.

Anderson tries to land a knee to the head but Lesnar blocks with his arms.

Lesnar pulls Anderson into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lesnar looking to control.
Anderson trying to control but Lesnar is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lesnar holds on and takes a little breather.
Anderson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ken Anderson just wasn't active enough.
Lesnar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lesnar wants it to stay on the feet.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Anderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ken Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lesnar gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Anderson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lesnar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Anderson wants to sweep here but Lesnar controlling him for the moment.

Lesnar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anderson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lesnar has managed to get both his arms back between Anderson's legs - danger averted.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Lesnar gets to his feet. Anderson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Anderson feints and as Lesnar raises his hands in defense, Anderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lesnar looking for a guillotine here but Anderson defends easily.
Anderson stays in close to Lesnar's body and controls the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lesnar has his foot on Anderson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderson works his way back into a safe position though.
Lesnar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard.
Lesnar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Lesnar was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Lesnar drives through with a takedown into Anderson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lesnar drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Anderson dives on top into guard.

Anderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lesnar.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jason Lesnar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ken Anderson will probably get the nod.
That's time! Anderson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


No luck for Anderson with that takedown attempt.

Lesnar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Anderson on his heels. He'll look to pass Anderson's guard now, I'm sure.

Lesnar gets to his feet - Anderson follows without any prompting.

Lesnar shoots in and drives through. Anderson sprawls well.
Lesnar scores with a sloppy right hand. Anderson should have avoided that one.
Anderson feints a jab promting Lesnar to slip. Anderson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lesnar slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Jason Lesnar has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lesnar is defended easily by Anderson.
Ken Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Lesnar.
Anderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Anderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar avoids it really well and circles away.

Lesnar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anderson's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Anderson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lesnar is one step ahead there.

Jason Lesnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lesnar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
