The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks shoots in for a double leg but Wojatzek sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wojatzek throws a body punch but Brooks moves out of range.
Brooks with a lazy takedown attempt
and Wojatzek counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brooks's guard now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Wojatzek working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Wojatzek wants to control from the top but Brooks keeps moving.
Wojatzek throwing strikes from guard but Brooks blocks nicely.
Wojatzek got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brooks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wojatzek has managed to get both his arms back between Brooks's legs - danger averted.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wojatzek is in close to Brooks's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Brooks looking for a triangle here. Wojatzek is fighting it but it looks tight! Brooks pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Wojatzek is tapping out - this one is all over!
