Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gordie Randal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordie Randal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gordie Randal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruno Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick and Randal moves out of range easily.

Sanchez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randal is trying to get back to half guard.
Sanchez advances to full mount.
Sanchez trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Sanchez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sanchez has control of Randal's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Randal regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Sanchez trying to control but Randal is having none of it.

Sanchez is standing up, even though he is in mount.

and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. Randal didn't expect that.

Randal wants to improve his position but Sanchez is controlling well.

Sanchez wants to take a breather but Randal is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sanchez trying to control but Randal is working from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Randal lunges at Sanchez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sanchez's hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Randal darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sanchez.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sanchez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Randal is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sanchez trying to control the position but Randal is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sanchez is working to tighten is grip on Randal's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Randal has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sanchez is really squeezing tight and eventually Randal passes out! Sanchez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
