The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scully changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martinez tries to avoid it but Scully manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martinez to the ground. Martinez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Martinez has Scully pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Scully is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Martinez - that's hurt Scully badly! Oh, another knee lands and Scully is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Scully doesn't seem to be complaining.
