Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thiago swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gracie cracks Thiago with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Thiago waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gracie.
Thiago takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Decent striking displayed by Gracie there.
Gracie lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Thiago backs up against the cage.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Thiago quickly recovers to half guard.
Gracie not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Thiago is looking to escape.

Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.
Thiago really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gracie connects with a nice short shot to Thiago's temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie lands strikes from half guard.
Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
You get the feeling that Thiago really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Thiago takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

It looks like Paulo Thiago has been cut.
Thiago is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Gracie raining down hammerfists from mount.
Gracie cracks Thiago with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Thiago looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie lands with some strikes.

Thiago is rocked!

The cut above Paulo Thiago's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Gracie looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Thiago covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
