The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer tries to close the distance and clinch but Activin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boxer misses with a low kick.
Activin connects with the punch.
Boxer throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Activin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Boxer throws a half hearted mid kick.
Boxer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Activin lands a body shot.
Activin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boxer slips a straight right by Activin.

Boxer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Boxer leaves Activin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Activin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Boxer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Activin dives in and grabs Boxer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boxer pushes down on Activin's head and hops out.
Activin shoots in but Boxer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boxer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Some bone on bone action there as Boxer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Barbara Boxer will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Boxer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Activin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Activin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boxer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Activin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boxer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Activin is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Boxer still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Boxer has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

I would just about give that final round to George Activin.
