Mulkku has chosen Disturbed - Conflict as his entrance music. Lihava Mulkku looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lihava Mulkku!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulkku rushes Starac and presses him up against the cage.
Starac tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mulkku breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Starac tries for a takedown but Mulkku sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mulkku gets the takedown into side control.
Mulkku has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Starac tries for a takedown but Mulkku circles away easily
and Mulkku makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stari Starac. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Starac takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mulkku gets a clinch.
Starac misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mulkku has Starac pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mulkku pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Starac tumbling to the mat - Mulkku dives into Starac's guard.

Starac is breathing heavily.
Mulkku stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Starac shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mulkku counters with a shoot takedown. Starac fights it but they end up in guard.
Starac not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Starac looking for a sweep. Not yet Starac, not yet.
Mulkku must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mulkku is looking to work some ground and pound but Starac has wrist control.
Mulkku throwing strikes from guard but Starac blocks nicely.
Mulkku really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Starac. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mulkku postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mulkku wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Starac's closed guard. He's half up but Starac has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Starac pivots and extends the arm, Mulkku falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Starac! Well done that man!
