Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Henri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon The Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Henri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon The Great!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henri looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The Great wants to get back to his feet but Henri is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The Great is wriggling around but Henri manages to pass to half guard.
Henri content to control rather than advance.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Henri connects with a nice short shot to The Great's temple.
The Great is looking to escape.
The Great tries to kick Henri off in order to stand up. Henri Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Great seems a little lost for a moment, as Henri dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Great is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Henri has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Henri decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Henri on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Henri pushes The Great up against the cage in a clinch.
Henri keeps the fight in the clinch, despite The Great's efforts to push away.

Henri gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The Great is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Henri sitting in guard here, content to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The Great wants to stand and escape but Henri is having none of it.
Henri looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Henri really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jack Henri has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
The Great throws a series of punches but Henri avoids them all with ease.

Henri moves into range and clinches up with The Great.
The Great wants to break the clinch but can't.
Henri leaning his opponent against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Henri gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Henri breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from The Great. Henri does a little dance to reset his feet.
Left hook, right uppercut from The Great.
The Great lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The Great ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Henri moves away.
The Great misses with an uppercut.
The Great swinging wildly here.
The Great lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Henri at a distance.
The Great throws a series of punches but Henri moves out of range.
The Great swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The Great tries to sprawl but Henri drives through with a takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Henri trying to control the pace.
Henri prevents The Great from standing back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Henri wants to control but The Great is keeping him busy.
The Great should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The Great pushes Henri off and gets back to his feet.
The Great falls off balance throwing a combination
and Henri counters with a series of strikes. The Great will be more careful next time no doubt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jon The Great will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


The Great scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A punch lands to the side of Henri 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Henri lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Henri throws a wild hook but The Great just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Henri gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - The Great raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon The Great!
