Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva dodges the punch combination from Davis.

A close round but Roger Silva will probably get the nod.

The cut above Roger Silva's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Davis goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Davis but great work by Silva.

Silva decides to stand up, so the ref orders Davis to his feet.

Davis throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Davis moves into range and connects with a jab.

and Silva counters with a big head kick but Davis shrugs it off.

Silva manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Davis on his heels. He'll look to pass Davis's guard now, I'm sure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Crash Davis will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Davis misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.

Silva lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Davis cracks Silva with an uppercut from hell and Silva crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Davis's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Davis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
