Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as John Smith enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Rich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Smith!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a combination that misses
and Rich counters with a nice kick to the body.
Rich misses with an uppercut
and Smith counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Smith wants to clinch up but Rich keeps it at a distance.
Rich jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Smith throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rich dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smith. That did some damage!
Rich misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rich's waist but Rich gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Smith shoots in and drives through. Rich sprawls well.
Rich avoids the head kick by Smith.
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Rich is just out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith feints a jab promting Rich to slip. Smith then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rich slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Good work by Rich as he checks the leg kick.
Rich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.
Smith takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rich feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smith's calf.
Rich throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Smith.
Rich cracks Smith with an open hand slap.

Smith is rocked!
John Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice sprawl there from Rich as Smith shoots in.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Rich finish him?
Daniel Rich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Smith.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith looks gassed!
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Daniel Rich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rich circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith seems to have recovered his senses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Rich. That's going to slow Smith down.

Smith gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
