Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Mercury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mercury's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mayer's choice of entrance music: I´m shipping out to Boston - Dropkick Murphys. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercury blocks a leg kick.
Mercury uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mayer.
Mercury is looking to score with low kicks.
Mercury throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mayer misses with a straight left.
Mercury lands with a kick to the temple. Mayer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like John Mayer has been cut.

Mercury feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mayer's calf.

Mayer misses with a lunging right hand
and Mercury counters with a head kick. That will keep Mayer thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
