Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman comes into the arena with Huey Lewis and The News - Hip to be Square blaring out of the sound system. Slice has chosen All I Do is Win as his entrance music. Patrick Bateman could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kimbo Slice's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Slice jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bateman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bateman fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slice on the side of the head.
Bateman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slice.
Bateman throws a leg kick that is checked
and Slice counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Slice throws a hook to the side of Bateman's head but Bateman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bateman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bateman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slice.

Bateman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Slice clobbers Bateman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Bateman throws a hook but Slice avoids it easily.
Slice looks to land a combination. Bateman sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Good leg kick by Bateman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Slice avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Slice walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Slice moves out of range of the body kick.

Bateman cracks Slice with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Slice uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bateman.
Bateman is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slice swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slice scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Bateman connects with a solid leg kick.

Slice throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bateman just misses with a punch to the body.
Bateman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bateman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bateman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Slice. That did some damage!
Bateman buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Bateman loads up on a big right hand but Slice slips the punch.

Bateman is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Slice might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Nice uppercut lands for Bateman. That snapped Slice's head back.

Bateman drops Slice with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Slice looks back up at him and smiles so Bateman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Slice is still on wobbly legs! Can Bateman finish him?
Slice fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bateman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Slice stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bateman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Bateman.
Slice seems to have recovered his senses.
