The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Magnum misses with the combination.
Del Bosco fails with a takedown attempt.

Del Bosco closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Magnum's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Del Bosco stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Magnum lands a slapping body shot.

A telegraphed right hand from Magnum misses the target.

Magnum looks to throw the jab but Del Bosco is out of range.
Magnum closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Marvon Del Bosco has been cut.

Magnum thows a body shot but no joy.
Del Bosco shoots in and drives through. Magnum sprawls well.

Del Bosco walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Del Bosco shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Magnum as he avoids it easily.

Pete Magnum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheers as Magnum lands an impressive looking overhand right. Del Bosco doesn't seem phased though.

Pete Magnum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Del Bosco.

Del Bosco takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Del Bosco misses with a takedown attempt - Magnum sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Magnum. Del Bosco does a little dance to reset his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Magnum stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Magnum wants it to stay on the feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Magnum can do anything to dispel that myth.
Del Bosco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Magnum keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Del Bosco seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Magnum is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
