The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trudeau fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but King avoids it really well and circles away.

and King counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Pierre Trudeau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trudeau changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Trudeau manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Jord King will probably get the nod.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Trudeau holds on and takes a little breather.
Trudeau lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for King!

Trudeau throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! King has his hands clasped together but Trudeau breaks the hold and King is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Trudeau!
