Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hotaka Yoshifumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele comes into the arena with Freak On A Leash blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hotaka Yoshifumi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele fails to land with a series of punches.
Yoshifumi throws a head kick but Steele moves out of range.
Yoshifumi ducks right into an uppercut from Steele.
Yoshifumi wants to clinch up but Steele keeps it at a distance.

Yoshifumi looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Steele lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Yoshifumi!
Yoshifumi is trying to escape the mount.
Steele content just to control the position here.
Yoshifumi manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Steele is controlling the pace.
Steele knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yoshifumi on the ground.
Yoshifumi is looking to control Steele's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Yoshifumi avoid being mounted?
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Steele is taking a breather. Yoshifumi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Yoshifumi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Steele passes the guard and advances to mount!
Yoshifumi is trying to reverse the position but instead Steele has taken his back - oops!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Yoshifumi tries to roll but Steele sticks to his back.
Steele is trying to stick to Yoshifumi's back but Yoshifumi is turning into Steele. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Steele's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Yoshifumi.
Yoshifumi is looking to work some ground and pound but Steele has wrist control.
Yoshifumi is fighting to break Steele's control of his arms but Steele is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yoshifumi throws and elbow that misses. Steele uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Yoshifumi's guard. Nice move by Steele!
Steele wants to control from the top but Yoshifumi keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Steele gets to his feet. Yoshifumi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Steele lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Steele misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yoshifumi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Steele to score with a decent uppercut.

Yoshifumi is rocked!
Yoshifumi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Steele counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
