The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puti tries to work over Yama's front leg with a kick but Yama checks it.
Boy Puti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puti moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Puti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yama manages to avoid it.
Puti misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Puti.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Puti moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Yama tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Puti presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Yama is bucking up trying to escape but Puti cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Puti postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Yama badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Puti around the waist but Puti pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Puti is the winner by TKO! Puti jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
